Q. What are the odds of a Customfurnish kitchen getting damaged when exposed to water?

Customfurnish kitchens can last for years when attended with some basic care. We recommend you to use Granite or Corian Top to avoid any water seepage into the cabinets. Attend to water stagnation immediately as stagnant water can damage the wooden cabinets and will render the warranty void. Also, do not use harsh chemicals to clean the cabinet surfaces. Use a soft wet cloth to clean the cabinets to prevent damage to it. Hardware such as hinges and channels can get rusted if exposed to water unless you have opted for rust-free hardware.

Customfurnish kitchen cabinets do not come with a countertop. However, you can choose a counter-top for your kitchen from a range of options and we will get it fitted for you at an additional cost.

Q. Can the kitchen be assembled if the countertop is already fixed?

Ideally, we would like to setup the modular kitchen before the countertop is fixed. Our experts will be able to help you with re-fitting queries during site visit.

Q. Is Customfurnish Kitchen covered under warranty or guarantee?

CustomFurnish modular kitchens come with a 5-year warranty for material and manufacturing defects. However, for the warranty to be honored, the customer needs to take some precautions. We provide free assembly and installation services.

Q. What are the payment terms?

You will have to pay 50% of the price on confirmation and 50% after completion of manufacturing before delivery for installation.

Q. How much time does it take to setup a Customfurnish Kitchen?

Once the payment is confirmed, it takes 28 working days to manufacture, ship and install the modular kitchen unit.

Q. What if I receive a defective product?

The product will be replaced free of cost in case of any manufacturing defects or damages caused due to mishandling during shipping or installation.

Installation

– The price shown is inclusive of delivery and installation of all products purchased from Customfurnish.com
– All Customfurnish modular kitchens come with the option of free installation and assembly
– Any electrical, civil or plumbing work that may be required is not included and will not be provided by Customfurnish.com
– For the installation process our technicians will require access to live power and a maximum of 7 working days to complete the job
– Once your order is placed our experts will call to co-ordinate the installation process

Warranty & Replacement Policy

– We offer a 5 year replacement warranty against any manufacturing defects for all our kitchens
– The warranty does not cover natural wear and tear and excludes commercial use
– For MDF and Plywood, warranty is not applicable if continuously exposed to water (stagnant water)
– For sink unit, warranty is not applicable if there is water leakage around the granite into the sink unit. It is recommended that a silicon sealant is used to fill the gaps around the granite every two years.
– For hardware such as hinges, handles, hanger rods, brackets, lock etc., warranty is not applicable if exposed to chemicals and water.
– There is no warranty on the Fabrics / PU leatherette in cases of scratches, cuts, flame holes and stains after delivery and acceptance by the customer
– In case of manufacturing defects or damage during transit, the product will be replaced free of cost.
– Mail us the details of the damage at [email protected], with photographs within 24 hours, to process such claims

Maintenance

– Only use mild cleaning agents to remove grease, as abrasive agents might cause damage
– To maintain the look of your modular kitchen, regularly wipe down the cabinets with a damp cloth
– For hard to remove stains, gently use a nylon-bristled hand brush or vegetable brush
– Thoroughly clean hinges and crevices with an old toothbrush that has been soaked in soap water
– Clean handles with a damp cloth and wipe them dry to prevent marks, apply lemon oil immediately after to make them shine
– Use a mild solution of vinegar and salt to remove rust spots
– Do not use abrasive brushes or scorers on your appliances or fixtures as this will definitely damage the finish
